ONLINE AND INLINE ANALYZERS AND SENSORS FOR PROCESS AUTOMATION

Online Analyzers for Chemical Industry. Sensors for Process Automation. The chemical industry sets high demands on housing, electronics and sensor technology. Therefore, SensoTech application specialists fit the systems into requirements. Because, all components can be adapted to the existing process conditions. Difficult profitability, quality control, and regulatory factors in the chemical industry make inline monitoring more important than ever. As a result, LiquiSonic® monitors and controls liquids in lines, reactors, filters, scrubbers, heat exchangers, waste lines, basins and almost anywhere liquids flow. Where accuracy is critical. Or, where high pressure, high temperatures or sensitive processing environments make sampling impractical or impossible. More over, SensoTech analyzers are ideal for monitoring inline processes. Additionaly, LiquiSonic® sensors are engineered for tough industrial processes, including Class I Division 1 Hazardous Area installations.

Online Analyzers for Chemical Industry. Sensors for Process Automation.A rugged housing is crucial for protection and high mechanical stability. Therefore, depending on the sensor type SensoTech housings are able to withstand temperatures up to 200 °C or 392 °F. Secondly,  rated pressures up to 500 bar or 7,250 psi. And more over, are resistant to lyes, acids and solvents. The fundamentals for this are the high-grade materials used such as stainless steel, PTFE and PFA, alloy steels or tantalum. Most importantly, the sensor design consists of one homogenous body and requires no gaskets.

Due to toxic, adhesive, sticky or fatty characteristics water management at chemical plants is very challenging. Using application-specific technology you can improve your water management efficiency by reliable on-line measurements.Use of water as a raw, auxiliary and/or operating material in a variety of processes:

– Process water for heating -purposes
– Process water for cooling purposes
– As steam to drive turbines
– As a reaction medium for cleaning

Adequate water management safeguards plant operation:

– Process water that is cost-intensive to produce and to heat
– Recycling process water and its thermal energy promises considerable;savings potential
– Water quality must comply with purity specifications

Leakages and equipment failures cause contamination of product and of process water:

– Organic contamination may lead to damages in pipes, boilers and heat exchangers
– Severe contamination may lead to a shutdown of the entire production plant
– Shock loads will cause severe problems in the downstream waste water treatment

Additionally, the waste water treatment is demanding due to high pollution by chemicals, oils, salts and other contaminants.

Typical Applications: TOC, DOC, TN, TP, BOD, COD, Oil in Water, Toxicity
